SHARING HER WRITING – ANGEL TE PAIA R4
Thank you Angel for sharing her writing with us this week. This is the first part of a narrative she has written called ‘Killer Clowns’ .
I am perched on the edge of the king-sized bed that I don´t own, but just wish I did. The creepy clowns are hunched up on the cabinet and are everywhere. I shudder. The big clown rocking on the rocking chair was just really creeping me out. I tried to go to sleep. But as always in that house I just couldn’t.
I’m telling you, they need to pay me more. I had just put the twins to bed and was exhausted. At a moment I drifted into a soft, mallow sleep, but suddenly there was a slow creaking noise. I lifted my oval shaped head from an uncomfortable, but still very, big pillow. My eyes slowly ventured to the rocking chair. Phew. Still in its place. But the head has moved so that its facing me. I run to the phone, punch in the owners number. Ringggggggggg The sound is irritating. The receiver crackles to life. “Haro,Who’s this?”
“OMG who do you think it is? Hello it’s me, Your big clown on the rocking chair is creeping me out!” I cried.
“What big clown in what rocking chair? Aye? What are you talking about? Are you okay sweetie?”
I took in a deep breath…
