REMINDER - TERM 2 CLASSROOM MEETINGS STARTING
FROM NEXT WEEK
All the classes have had their individual date reminder notice sent home. This is once again an opportunity for all parents/caregivers to meet informally in classrooms with classroom teachers and students. All meetings begin at 6.00pm :
Room 5 - Tuesday 12th May
Room 6 - Wednesday 13th May
Room 1 - Monday 18th May
Rooms 2 & 4 Tuesday 19th May
Room 3 - Wednesday 20th May
Room 7 - Thursday 21st May
These meetings are very important with both the classroom teacher and students talking about their learning. We are making these meetings informal so that parents/caregivers are able to see what your child is actually doing in his/her classroom. We are very hopeful that we will get a 100% parent/student turn out.

A BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THOSE INVOLVED”.
TECHNOLOGY BLOCK UPGRADE
We are delighted to be almost completely back in the tech blocks with Fabric and Food starting to use the rooms this week. There is still quite a bit of gear to be moved in and this will take some time but at least the teachers and students can use the rooms. They look great with lots of colour, double glazed windows and stainless steel benches in the foods room. The break out learning room still needs to be furnished and have the IT gear fitted.
SPORT
Cross Country: our school cross country was postponed today at Fraser Park. We will try to hold it tomorrow afternoon.
Basketball: the season has started with 22 keen students playing hard in their first games on Wednesday after school. Well done to all three teams for their great commitment and to the coaches for their time and energy.
