Term 3 begins on Monday 20th July at 8.45am.

MAGIC CARD

Has your child got their magic card giving free access to swimming pools and free library usage?  With the holidays coming up this is a great FREE way to spend part of the two week break.  We encourage all students to take the great opportunity of free entertainment.  All students will receive a flyer from HCC today outlining what it can be used for.

END OF TERM AWARDS

Congratulations to our end of term 2 award winners for class, technology and gold card draw.  Your name is published on the back of this newsletter.  Congratulations on your win;  it is great to see the good choices you have made throughout the term and this has been acknowledged.

CHOCOLATE FUNDRAISING FOR SCHOOL FEES

All students were given a letter last Thursday outlining the opportunity for families to fundraise to help towards their child’s school fees. If you did not receive the permission notice this is repeated at the end of this newsletter.  The chocolates will be distributed from tomorrow.  If you want to sell chocolates over the school holiday please send back the permission form tomorrow. Once returned you will receive another letter and your chocolates. The boxes will be given out one at a time and if you wish to sell more we must receive the 60 for the first box.  $24 from each box sold will be credited to your child’s fees.

Over the school holidays you are able to return the $60 for chocolates sold or pick up a box of chocolates to sell on:  Wednesday 8th July and Monday 13th July both between 10am and 12 noon.

MATHLETICS

This is an online maths programme that caters for all levels of ability.  It also helps students enjoy maths and improve their results.  Many schools  and thousands of students use Mathletics.  The BOT are subsidizing the programme therefore it will only cost $5 for term 3 & 4.  All students, once they have paid the $5, will get their own log on and be able to access the programmes. Signed permission forms will be required for the swimming and the mathletics programmes.

For families who pay by automatic payments into our account and are in credit, once the permission form is received for your child the ($30) swimming and ($5) mathletics will be deducted from your payments.
