Measles: on the reverse of the newsletter is a letter about measles.  Please take time to read it through.

Influenza (Flu): can be a serious illness sometimes leading to hospital admission especially if you have an ongoing medical condition (eg Asthma or Diabetes).  Your best protection against the flu virus is to be immunized.

Vision and Hearing Tests:  these are carried out at AIS annually.

Immunization Programmes: as you are aware the Public Health nurses have been in the school this week giving the Year 7 Boostrix vaccination - (diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough). Year 8 girls are also offered HPGV/Gardasil immunization.

Health & Safety Laws:  the new law came into effect on 4th April this year.

(The school is fully aware of these new laws and has Policies in place.)
