Term 3 - Week 8 13 Sep 2018

    NEWSLETTER Term 3 Week 8        13/09/18

We have celebrated Te Wiki o Te Reo Maori at our school this week with activities in the classrooms and by challenging ourselves to korero Maori as much as we can! We have created an iwi display in our main corridor, which shows where our Maori students are from. It has created lots of interest and discussion between our staff and students. Have a look when you are next in school!  KIA KAHA TE REO MAORI

LEARNING PROGRESS    We have 2 more weeks after this week until the end of term. We are now going into a very busy period where we start to test and gather data on how well students are performing. Teachers are having ongoing discussions with students around where they are at with half-year reports and how they are going after 8 weeks of learning. In this run into the end of term, our expectations are that all students will be very focused around their learning so that they are getting the very best in our classrooms.
