Camp information: This includes request for parents to help at camp, a medical report form and a swimming consent form. Please return these forms to your child’s classroom teacher by Friday 13th September.
SWIMMING
Thank you to Swim City and Stokes Valley Pools for supporting our swimming programme this term. Our students had their last swimming lesson today and we will be asking students and staff for feedback on this programme. One hundred students participated in swimming lessons this year, which is half of our school. We would like to find out what we can do to have more of our students participating
GOLD CARD DRAW
The gold card draw this week was won by Tanya, Emma and Beatrice! Congratulations for making great choices at our school and making this an awesome school to be part of.

Year 8 Boys won against Maranatha 39-22
Year 7 Boys won against HIBS 33 - 20
Year 8 Girls won against our Year 7 girls 34 - 11

Water Polo Results:
We won against Muritai School 11 - 3

Basketball Draw - Wednesday 11th September
The basketball draw for next week has not been released. We will let students know as soon as this comes out. It will be available on the Hutt Valley Basketball Association’s website

WELCOME TO OUR VISITING TEACHERS
Today we welcomed four visiting teachers from China who are with our school for two days. We welcomed them to our school with a mihi whakatau and they were excited to learn more about our students and our community.
LEGO SHOW
Lower Hutt will be hosting Wellington’s only Lego Show on September 14th and 15th at Lower Hutt Events Centre.It’s going to be bigger and better than any Lego show that has been held in the city before. The show will be raising money for the Back to Schools charity that supports children in low decile return to school with essential items they need for the new school year.
