WHAT AIS IS ALL ABOUT!

In the last newsletter we showed you the Avalon Acrostic;  yesterday signs were put up around the outside of the school.  They stand to remind our students of our expectations based around the A V A L O Nacrostic.

MAGIC CARD

Slowly we are getting through to our students the great benefits of having a free Magic Card.   We are lucky to be one of the fortunate schools chosen to receive them.

FUNDRAISING CUP CAKES

Cupcakes will be on sale to raise funds for the SPCA tomorrow and the following Friday at 12.15.  Cupcakes are $1 each.  Please support this.

REMAINDER OF THE TERM

We are almost down to the last 20 days of term and generally it has been very successful with high numbers of students engaged in what we are offering around learning.  Term 4 will be on us very quickly.  Now is a very important time for students as shortly we begin measuring where they have achieved against National Standards.  We are pushing them to do their very best work, to complete homework and to work positively with their learning.

SWIMMING PROGRAMME

Our intensive swimming lesson programme started on Monday.  To those of you who did not pay we consider it a very important part of our school curriculum therefore if half the fee ($15) is paid before then your child can join the 2nd week of the lessons.
